Jacqueline Threadgill, MBA
Jacqueline Threadgill, a healthcare executive with over 20 years of experience, is recognized for innovative commercialization, market access, and reimbursement strategies for early stage startup and multi-billion-dollar biotechnology, diagnostic laboratory, and healthcare companies within the United States, Europe, and Canada. Ms. Threadgill launched new technologies directed to improving patient outcomes and health care measurements. She has held senior leadership roles within clinical diagnostic and toxicology laboratories where she successfully led, managed care, operational, compliance, market development, and reimbursement teams.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Threadgill served as a senior executive responsible for the development, launch, and leadership of a Pennsylvania based Managed Medicaid Plan and held roles with Highmark BCBS where she introduced and implemented unique managed care programs focused on improving patient care. She has served on the Pennsylvania Dept. of Public Welfare Workgroup and held various board positions including the March of Dimes of the Lehigh Valley and CASA Mercer County.
Ms. Threadgill received her MBA from the NJ Institute of Technology and her BA in Microbiology from Penn State University. She currently serves as a Principal Senergene for Senergene Solutions, LLC, where she provides strategic commercialization, coverage, and coding strategies focused on improving patient outcomes and the health care delivery system.
Dr. Kay Jewell, MD – Head of Clinical Affairs
Dr. Kay Jewell, MD, Vice President of Clinical Affairs for Senergene Solutions, is a trained internal medicine physician with over 40 years of healthcare and industry experience. She is responsible for assisting clients with the development of clinical policies, health economic and budget cost models, and building support for quality, coverage, and clinical policy issues.
Previously, Dr. Jewell has served as a consultant to the healthcare industry. In this capacity, Dr. Jewell has addressed molecular pathology issues related to coverage and payment, Medicare local coverage decisions, and draft coverage policies for the Association of Molecular Pathologist, as a member of ACMG, and for clients. Other projects include clinical, marketing and public health issues with Pharma launch in which her focus is on the link between identifying the product’s value considering the quality of care, performance measurements, and cost. Dr. Jewell has worked in quality and safety at the state and national levels with nursing homes, home health agencies, hospitals, and health plans. She served as the first Medical Director for Medicare Part B in Wisconsin and as Chief Medical Officer at CMS (Medicare) where she led the development of the initial Medicare Administrative Contractors’ standard operating procedures and policies.
Dr. Jewell has served as Vice Chair of the Wisconsin Medical Society Quality Council, was a member of the AMA –PCPI and a public respondent on NQF performance measurement endorsement. Dr. Jewell received her degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School, completed internal medicine residency and fellowship training in psychiatry and geriatrics and extensive graduate coursework at UW-Madison in Administrative Medicine and UW-SP in health and wellness.
