Healthcare Consultant
Our company is seeking a Managed Care Account Manager who will be responsible for the management of all relationships and information related to specific client accounts. The ideal Managed Care Account Manager will have strong industry managed care credentialing and contracting knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to client account maintenance.
Responsibilities
Candidates should have the ability to oversee the development, strategic planning, and execution of managed care contracts for Senergene clients as well as the following:
- Evaluate, develop, and negotiate fee for service, value-based and special program contracts
- Develop strong relationships with private and government sponsored payers, health systems, IPAs, and GPOs
- Engage in complex levels of contract/re-contract development
- Identify, develop and maintain an effective relationship with contracted health plans and managed care regulatory agencies
- Perform market and policy assessments and financial modeling for clients
- Establish, plan, direct and evaluate
- Monitor changes, trends and events to proactively identify opportunities to increase market penetration and performance improvement
Skills/Experience
- Recent college graduate with an emphasis in healthcare or business
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- General knowledge of managed care contracting language, requirements, and methods to support the development and maintenance of contract compliance, contract language review and contract analysis
- Great interpersonal communication skills
- Keen eye for spotting data trends
- Great analytical and research skills
- Personal accountability and strong work ethic
- Professional, able to interact with vendors/clients
- Positive, “can do” attitude
- Must be willing to work out of home office
- Must be able to travel
